Change is good...

Sweet Pea
~

I'm late for the park, but decided to post in an effort to move along. Thanks to those of you who helped me with that hiccup. Trust me, your kind words mattered. I'll keep you informed. I'm off to the park and it's raining today so I don't know what to expect. Cross your fingers everyone shows up.

As I navigated the kitchen and feeding everyone this morning I asked myself why I blog? I concluded my blog is a journal. It is, isn't it? And somehow it helps me get through good times and bad. Do you agree?

Happy Friday,
XO

I'm writing the first comment. That's too funny. I really want to thank those of you who helped me with Hillary. I just looked at her photo and started to cry again. It's hard. Thanks for taking the time to comment and help me out. I appreciate it more than you know. Thanks you guys.

Okay, I wrote the second comment because MOB slid in to first base!!! Too funny! Hi honey and thanks. And yes, my chin is up. I'm feeling terribly uppity today!!! How am I going to drive to the park like this? Thanks for always cheering me up my dear woman. Love you darling and a big hug to boot.

XO ;)

Yes. That's exactly how I feel about blogging--it's a journal for me too in a way. I've always kept journals since I was a little girl, and this is just a continuation.

It's hard to care so much for animals. I spend half my time adoring my ancient dog Pippin and half my time worrying about how I'll cope when he dies. Honestly. They depend on us so much, even your ferals do. It's a hard relationship, although of course rewarding (but I don't need to state the obvious, do I?)

Blogging is many things but first and formost its a journal for you to remember a past moment or feeling.
It's also a way to create a moment or feeling for someone else.

Walker, thanks. I agree. You're the only one who actually aswered the question. Thanks. I like the part about affecting someone else. I hadn't thought of that. I'll always remember.

Much love,
Me!

Bob,

Thanks hon. I will. You too. I have a good Halloween story. I'm about to post it!!! I had a bit of fun on the way home from the park with a bunch of smart-ass teenagers. Trust me, they'll remember me!
