And for those of my dear friends who are not from America, have a beautiful day too.

Bob,

I just left a comment(s) on your blog too. How funny. I sat down to write my new post and got sucked into the vortex! You'll have a good laugh. So will Cece when she sees it (oh, you better hope baby or you'll have to run for the hills!).

I was at the Vet's yesterday and one of the women helping me said "What are you guys doing tomorrow?" I replied "Nothing. Rob has to finish a brief and I have to just get through all the chores and responsibilities that make up my day, then fall into bed." She looked at me and started to laugh and said "Are you kidding?" I said "Honey, have I ever lied to any of you?" We couldn't stop laughing. Life is so funny.

And honey, I'll be fine this weekend as long as an idiot doesn't plow into me or send me flying off the freeway on the way to feed the ferals, or on the way back. Trust me, I worry about that, and although I'm not religious, always say a prayer before I leave the house. But there are CHIPS officers out in force, and every local township has police out in force. I'm grateful. Seriously. If I die this weekend, trust me, I had faith, but not much luck!

Love you,
Blottie

P.S. Go to the Wild Onion and click on The Fruitcake Lady. You'll laugh. And there's so much more if you Google her. She's a huge hit on the Tonight Show. You'll see why. I honestly believe I've seen everything she's done and can hardly wait for more. A dear, dear doctor friend of our recommended we check her out, and we've never regretting a since minute!!! She's too funny! I'm laughing just thinking about her.

Love you.

Hey Peter,

Hi honey. Thanks and no I'm not on msn messenger. Honestly, I don't even know what that means. I have so much on my plate I can barely figure out how to turn the dial on the washing machine at this point. Rob's all up to date on everything and then you have me...basically I just don't give a crap!!! If I have to think about one more freakin' thing, I swear to God I'm going to explode! So, how do I get it? ;)

Love you and Happy 4th of July. Thanks for giving us our independence! You bastards.

Viv,

Hi honey. That photo was taken two years ago on the 4th, but it remains one of my favorites, so I reuse it. Often!

Sweet Pea's doing great. His eye is better and his leg is no longer ugly and puffy. His hair is also beginning to grow back. He looks spectacular!!! And of course, he's as crazy as ever, so you know he's feeling pretty good. The first week he was home he wasn't himself, wouldn't play or talk, but when he started feeling better and returned to normal the house lit up like a Christmas tree. Seriously. It was as if we were all just waiting for the moment to arrived and when it did, everyone started jumping for joy. We've never looked back and the house hasn't stopped rockin'!!!. He's an amazing cat and a hoot to boot.

Happy 4th dear friend and thanks for caring.

XO

Hey Kooka!

Thank you honey!!! I love the name Calamity. It's very appropriate. I'm going to use it a lot!

Sweet Pea scared the crap out of us. NOT FUNNY! That's what I told him the other day. Animals and kids...they put the fear of God in you. Everything's okay until my next calamity. Right?

I love you sweetie and hope everything's okay. I think of you so often and wonder if your navigating depression okay. I just spoke with my doctor from LA a few days ago and ordered one of his double CD. It's a guided imagry to help with stress. As you know Dr. P ordered me to do relaxation exercises and the only doctor I could think of to help is Marc Schoen, my former psychologist. He practices at Cedars-Sinai and UCLA. I love the man to death and I'm confident listening to his meditations will help. In fact, I'm thinking they'd help a lot of friends here. Hummmmmmmmm. What a wonderful thought. He works with chronic pain patients and athletes, so has amazing CD's and the most flattering is the CD based on his work with chronic pain patients! Me! He's an amazing guy and I love him very much. Any doctor who would rather have you call him Marc, than Dr. Schoen, is stand up to me. If the CD's I receive in the next few days are as helpful as I think, I'll copy them and send them to you. Trust me, Marc would smile. I'll tell him I'm doing it and he won't mind. Everyone else, google March Schoen PhD. Order his CD's. The man's so good at what he does. Tell him I sent you. The stress CDs, with tax and shipping are around $45. I'll let you know if they're worth it. But trust me, I already know they are. He was my doctor for over two years and he's amazing. He saved my life.

Love you Mark. Take good care of you and the crew!

Happy 4th of July!

Suzanne,

My depression has lifted although I am taking myrcm medication for it. Thank you for your concern. At present I am enjoying blogging so much... It seems to be helpful. I hope the bubble doesn't burst any time soon.

Hey, stopping by for a quick hello. Now I must go to bed if they would just stop shooting off those damn fireworks around here. I cannot sleep with all that noise. Anyway, hope you had a great day.

Suze,

Isn't it amazing what such a little country achieved back in the day? hehehehe

msn is just a little instant message service that whenever you're online with your friends, you can chat to them in 'real time'. It's easy to download if you want it - just search for it, or google it.
Love ya hun, don't get stressed out though!
Remember those relaxation exercises!
