For a number of reasons, I seem to have lost my voice on this blog and am seriously considering deleting it or simply stopping here. I'm going to give myself a week to figure it out.
Until then, thank's for all your comments and care. I apologize for not responding. Many kitties made it, other did not. None of the skunks survived. If I ever find the courage, I'll post the photos and tell the story.
Much love,
Suzanne XO
UPDATE: I won't delete. Thanks Kylie, Peter and Debbie.

you might have other things going on, you might have lost your voice, you might be a bit down but none of that is reason to delete your blog!!!
just let it sit, it's part of your life, it's a creative work and even if you dont blog you will value the ability to come back to it, to read and remember.
and all that is before i even consider telling you

lots of love

You have to do what you think is best, although totally deleting the blog would be such a shame and a waste of all the time and energy that you've put into it. Think about it, sweetie.

And to echo Special, we all want you here.

Love ya,
Peter x

Oh heartbreak, to meet you so recently and then lose contact. My dear friend, we all walk through valleys full of shadow when we feel lonely and alone.
Though we fear we have nothing to contribute, we have no way of knowing what chance passing soul may hear us gently singing to ourself and find nourishment therein. To delete your blog would be to erase your pathway to here, something I find so sad. I hope your blog remains at least for a while. (I better get reading!) I surely understand that you may feel the need to pull back, cocoon, and renew (I have done that myself in other areas of my life and it felt WONDERFUL). If you do leave for a time, I hope you will look me up whenever you find yourself floating in blogdom again. I'll be here, Lord willing, waiting with a cuppa tea to toast this whole virtual bloggy thing that somehow knits hearts together. I can't quite define it ... but it makes me smile. I've so enjoyed blogging with you and meeting some of your other blogger friends. Pause, heal, love, live, and never, never stop dancing. : )

Hey Suzanne!

OMG! I'm glad to hear that you're NOT going to delete this blog!! I thought I was going to have a heart attack when I read that. What ARE you thinking?? Just take a break...don't delete!!! Your voice will come back. And even if it doesn't, we'd all cry if you deleted this beautiful blog!!!!

Thanks for all the sweet and funny comments on my trip chronicles. I'm sorry I've been remiss on commenting back...I've been trying to get caught back up with life! ACK!!! I go away for a few days and the ants take over our house! I hate ants INSIDE. They don't bother me OUTSIDE where they belong!

I love you and hope you are doing well, baby!

WTF?! I come back and hear that this site might be shut down...didn't read the FINE print at the point?! THANK GOD! wouldn't do that to me to us! That would be like 1pic. Devastating! Ok...ok...enough drama from me. Just now that I DEMAND that you can NEVER shut this site down! EVER!

The good news...I have a surprise for you on my blog! Go take a peek!

P.S. I am so very sorry about some of the ferals and skunks not making it. It breaks my heart! And that guy was just a perv...or he thought the woman's bathroom was!

Hey Honey,

I'm with Peter when he says you have to do for you, not us. However, even if you don't feel like writing, you can always post a photo to share as your babies and your roses are most beautiful.

It's always good to hear from you; you leave some of the best comments!

Much love and lots of hugs,

Okay, good, no deleting, don't worry about voice! Your voice is so strong it doesn't matter whether you're feeling it or not, it's still there!!! I swear!

Blogging can be very emotional, mostly in a good way, but it can certainly have its dips and sags. Keeping a public journal is a major challenge. Look at me, my last few posts have been about spankings and red nail polish!! Also weeping over music! I think it's great for us intense folk ( ahem, we know who we are) to use blogging as an exercise, and let's call the exercise "roll with it." Ha ha, Suzanne, I've never just rolled with anything in my life! This is a first!!!!!

Anyway, I'm not sure I know what I'm talking about but I'm talking anyway!

And, don't feel you need to post all the time (I'm repeating what others said)--just whenever the mood strikes! I love coming here and seeing the beautiful pinks and roses and cats and just hearing anything you want to tell us about!

Oh, and p.s. Love and kisses and a big hug.

What's going on with you? Do I need to call you later in the week and talk it out? I'm glad you won't delete your blog. That is just silly talk. Nice going with bicycle boy, and you are WAY COOL, pink baseball cap and all. Love ya,more.

Hi Suzanne,
First this is my first visit and quite a dramatic first visit it has been. You seem to have a very tender heart that just needs a little tending and mending. I understand your initial impulse to quit in sight of the sadness but this blog can be a great healing tool. Glad to hear you are going to reconsider.
Take Care,
Lisa & Alfie

Hi Suzanne!!!!

Just missed you so I wanted to send you warm wishes and (((HUGS)))!!! HEY, I was wondering if you'd feel comfortable sending me your email address. I'm not a stalker or anything, I just wanted to send you something special. If so, send me an email to: If not, that's okay. I won't take it the wrong way. Really.

I just saw something the other day that made me think of you and I wanted to send it to you...

Ok fisrt, very nice roses.
I like plants and have a houseful also some roses in the front of the house but no where as nice as yours.
Secondly, cute cat, I had one like it called Marmalade.
She ran off with the circus when it came through so now I have a black and white cat whose to lazy to run let alone away.

I hope you find your voice but maybe you didn't really loose it but need to adjust a little.
I did.

Once I was shy and reserved, scared to say things I wanted to but one day by golly gee if I didn't open up.

Dearest Suzanne,

Here in the Sooner Nation, we are counting down the days till the start of the football season (re: the best time of year). We've had our Big 12 Conference Media Day and all is well in the Big Red center of the country. Hope to win over a few more fans to the Sooners cause from the great state of California.

I bit the bullet and posted an amends at Leah's for the misspelling. Hopefully, all is well.

Best wishes and Love,

Hi Girlfriend,

I loved seeing your "voice" over at W&R. Hope you are relaxing with a good read, stroking those fine kitties, and wending your way down the path to peace and beauty. I have over-blogged of late and am seriously needing to reorganize/refresh. I shall still blog, but it has to be FUN and burden-free. Like a soaring bird, I must let the updraft carry me wherever God leads. So fly by when you can and I shall soar over your way to see what's up. Happy Sunday Wonder. : )

So are you finally taking that much needed break from blogging? I hope so. But just know that we miss you and cannot wait until you are back in rare form. Just don't stay gone during your birthday. We would never forgive you for that. No Way.

Hello Suzanne...
Thanks for your very sweet and supportive comments on my blog. I've been in a funk myself. Maybe all of us "funky" people should get together and pull ourselves up by our asses?

Anyway, I miss you and it was sooo good to hear from you. My prayers are with you!!!
