Happiness from Robyn and All My Dear Friends...

Steps up to microphone and flicks it with finger.

As most of you know, there's been a bit of a mix-up with my birthday. Random Chick went wacky one day and before we knew it my life was forever changed (THANK GOD!!!). My birthday is August 8th (yup, of course I'm a Leo (that hair thing probably gave it away!)) and I wasn't going to celebrate, but Random Chick and all you dear friends made me realize the day is amazing and worthy of attention, so we all started celebrating early. I'm about to turn 49 and although I don't want to, I have to (that's the law apparently). Unfortunately, Robyn didn't get the memo. She logged on to the Wild Onion, read the post and thought it was my birthday...again! And immediately ordered this! I love that woman with all my heart. Even when she realized she'd made a bit of a boo-boo, she didn't relent. The florist still delivered this beautiful bouquet (Robyn...just so you know the upgrade, 24 roses!). And not just from her, but all of you too! That's a dear friend. It was supposed to arrive last Friday, but didn't and she was very upset, but it arrived Monday to welcoming arms and Ohno!
I think I have the most wonderful friends in the world on Blogger. We adore one another and I can't imagine life without one of you.
Yup, she's been in the foyer all week and looking gorgeous!
Arrival. Ohno trying to figure out "Watzup!"
Robyn, Marty apologized beautifully. He's a good guy.
The bouquet smelled wonderful. It had baby's breath, greens and eucalyptus as fillers. Absolutely gorgeous.
Today (Saturday), I realized the blooms were fading and weren't going to open, so I took matters into my own hands and created these! I love um!!! They're so precious and I think the blooms will open with short stems. I also saved the baby's breath and have it hanging in the garage to dry to use on the Christmas tree.
I have amazing friends and I love all of you. Robyn, you mean the world to me and you know it. I love you so much. Thank you for making my early birthday very special, and thank you too for including all our dear friends.
Suze XO
No, he isn't perfect...he tried to eat it!

Kylie ~ Oh he's a beauty alright. And I mean Ohno. (but Bob's not too bad either!!!) And yes, what a beautiful gesture. Robyn's the best. I will never forget this birthday and initially, I didn't want to remember it. It's amazing what a little mistake can do. I think 49 is going to be my lucky year thanks to all of you.

What a lovely gesture :-)

The flowers are beautiful, but I much prefer Ohno - he's such a little cutey - maybe I should just fly over and give him a stroke?

I was walking back from work the other night, and I saw a mummy cat and her 4 or 5 kittens (they were jumping about, so it was difficult to count them!) They were SO cute, happily playing with mum watching on. I could've stayed for ages watching them. But I didn't. I had to get home to a bottle of wine with my name on it!

That's so funny. Well, Happy Birthday anyway :-) Ohno must have had a very good time with the whole expereince too. I hope your not old because I turned 46 in May dear.

Happy Independence Day. I'm so glad we'll get to wish you another happy birthday in August.

Best wishes,

A Very Merry UNbirthday toooooooo youuuuuuuuuuuu! Birthdays are fun, so celebrate in anticipation of your August date. EnJOY yourself. My sister celebrates the entire month of her birthday (Sept). Don't fret about the years, my kids laugh at me and say I must be related to Merlin because I act younger as the years go by. I think they may be right. I laugh more in my forties than I did in my thirties. Eat a cupcake a day until your birthday (and then have a whole cake)! Have FUN!!! : )

Happy early birthday to you! The roses are beautiful and so is Ohno! My kitties want him to know that the roses are much tastier than the baby's breath! I usually opt for no flowers as the kitties like to eat them.

He's a gem. Rob and I often say "Wow, how lucky could we get!?" He's an absolute pain in the ass, but the funniest pain in the ass on earth. I don't really know how to explain it. He's just funny.

I love the mom's who love their kitties. I've met some wonderful ones at the park. They teach valuable lessons. I hope your mom and 4 or 5 kitties are safe and warm.

Love you dear friend.

From one "Oldie" to another, happy 46th!!! No, I don't think I'm an "Oldie," I'm just feeling sorry for myself. It'll pass just like everything else. Right?

A friend just cut her hair really, really short today and suggested I do the same (no, not Cece). I told her "ARE YOU KIDDING...I'M A LEO!!!" She suggested it would do me good. What do you think?!

It's been a difficult day here in La-La Land. Horrible forest fire near my ferals. I'm crying as I write this. Dr. P wants me to stop blogging, but doesn't realize how cathartic writing is. I'm going to have to remind her when I get the balls to actually keep my appointment.

Of course I'm laughing. What? You think I'm perfect? Please.

Hope all is well in your land.

XO Suze

This is a great birthday. I was so not looking forward to it, but now I am. All my blogger friends made me realize it's a special day. I like that.
