HAPPY BIRTHDAY CECE!!!
~
I didn't have enough roses in the garden
for a bouquet, so thought I'd
pick a whole bush from this
past summer!!!
~
Kylie indicated purple is the
color of sexual frustration.
I just want to reassure you I've use it only
because it goes beautifully with pink.
~
Hope you're having a wonderful day.
We love you here at Rose Cottage...

Is that why most men like the color purple?

Beautiful rose bush, Suzanne! Absolutely gorgeous. Mmmm, I could just bury my face in all the sweet soft petals and sniff them for days...

A beautiful birthday tribute for a beautiful lady. Happy birthday here, too, Cece! I promise I will come back to your blog regularly! This is some crowd! Not enough time in the day for all this, but fortunately I type pretty quickly, and think even more quickly!

Hi Suzy, thank you so much for visiting my blog and leaving a comment. I read your story of where you were arrested and my heart bled for you. I'd have liked to have got that guy and kicked in the goolies...he was obviously a bully and probably one that beat up on women. Glad justice prevailed.

My youngest daughter is called Suzanne and like you, she gets called Suzie, but spelt slightly differently.

Love the roses, who cares if purple means sexual frustration. It's one of my favourite colours...what does that say about me? (Giggle).

It's lovely meeting you Suzy and I hope you visit again.

Now see Karen, that's where you and I differ. I type fast, but think slow. I'm serious!!! I wish I could think fast too, but I'm not a Taurus or a Gemini! I'm just me, a little old Leo. I think my hair's to heavy to think faster!!!

Honey what would you do with my hair? I'm going through a difficult period of wondering right now. I need a style and have to stop chopping it off myself!!! If you knew the amount of money I used to spend in Beverly Hills, you'd die!!! But yup, chop it off myself now.

When I was nearly arrested a few weeks ago at the park because of that little fucking prick I thought about my hair!!! Why? Because when he called 911 he described me as a middle aged woman with a "grey ponytail." I thought WTF and screamed to 911, "it isn't grey, it's blonde with grey!!!" And that's after screaming to them "I'M WEARING BLACK SWEAT PANTS!!!!" because he told them I was wearing "running shorts." The man was an idiot. I told him "Honey, if you're going to give a description, at least be accurate because I'm too fucking exhausted to think for both of us!!!" No, I'm not kidding. I don't have time for stupid shit. And yup, I'm sure it's all on that 911/training call!!! I'm also certain it's a well respected doozy and will go down in police history! I was PISSSED and the dispacher at 911 was well aware!!! I'll tell you a funny story. I didn't realize how pissed I was at the "grey ponytail" comment until I walked out of the woods. I started to laugh and couldn't stop. I got back to the car, threw the stuff in the trunk and turned to all the cops. Yup, they were still all there, just a few feet away. And one said "God it's good to see you smile." I told them what I was laughing about and one of the wise ass young cops said "Oh and when he called 911 he said you were around 80!" He reminded me of my brother and I smacked his arm. He said "That's assault and battery young lady, I'm going to have to call 911." I said "Shut up." He replied, "Well that's simple abuse." We were all laughing so hard and I swear to God, that's how that whole fiasco ended. With tons and tons of laughter. As hard as it had been, it was beautiful in the end. I learned such a valuable lesson about keeping in check and behaving, but mostly I learned people are good and have great instinct. I was certain of that when the officer who let me out of the back of the squad car said "Well we all knew you weren't lying the moment you lunged at him because he was."

Why am I writing all this? I don't know. You're always so easy to talk to. I love you honey and I'm so happy we met. We were destined for this you know!? I guess I just needed to get this out and move on. Thanks for listening.

You're correct. This is "some crowd." We're lucky here. Very, very lucky. I'm so happy we all found one another.

Much love,
Sis

P.S. As I find time to read more and more of your story I'm simply in awe. As soon as I find my place, and I don't think it's here in CA, I think it's back in NY, I'm going to foster. I know I'd be terrific!!! No kid would ever suffer with me. Every. We'd find our bliss and hopefully adoption one another! I can't imagine loving a child then sending him/her back into the world to face it alone. You know me by now, I can't imagine that's even possible. Once you care, how can you not? If I do foster/adopt I expect your help. Really, I do.

Love you sweetie and thanks for the kind comments about the roses. The garden is a sanctuary. Weeds and all!

XO

Megan,

Hi honey. Your boat hasn't sunk yet!!!????

Puss-n-boots,

Honey please. I wasn't arrested!!! Just thrown in the back of a squad car to apparently protect the public (that little asshole!!!). God you made me laugh. And bully? I don't know. He was a young Jewish guy. At 5'2" I could have probably taken him in a wrestling match. He just really believed he was right and had a point. So be it. He was wrong and didn't. Oh well, lesson learned. And trust me, I learned a valuable lesson about what not to do and about change. I'm a different woman and that's what matters.

I'm so happy you're here. Meeting you was pure joy and I hope you return. And I think you should always wear purple when you arrive!!! I'm almost 50 and so excited to join the Red Hat Society. I'll wear purple and red and enjoy the hell out of myself!!! Life is good baby!!!!

Oh, and Suzanne. Listen honey, I'm called everything: Suzy, Suzie, Suze, Suzanne, Sue, etc., everything but Susan. Susan is an insult!!!

Well, I"m not sexually frustrated. At least not anymore. I mean after HB and Mahonny, I think I'm pretty good in that department. But purple is my favorite color and yes, it goes wonderfully well with pink. This has been a wonderful birthday, and I am extremely happy today. It is a happiness that I have not felt in a very long time. I really feel that everything is going to be ok. Now, I have realized that I've not eaten today, so I must go find some lunch. Toodles.
