The Black Bikini...

I was dreaming just before I woke up this morning. I dreamed I was running though a field of flowers in a black bikini. I felt light, happy, healthy and beautiful. I woke up feeling refreshed and almost well. My head wasn't pounding out of my skull, I wasn't coughing, I could breathe, I wasn't sick to my stomach, my body didn't ache and I felt happy to be alive. Then I stood up. Okay, I'm not 100% yet, but compared to yesterday, I feel like a new woman. I'm on the road to recovery. I'm beyond happy.

Now the black bikini. I wouldn't be caught dead in one! So why did I dream I was? I have no idea. I can only say I felt free. It was obviously the younger version of me, so I looked okay and felt pretty good too. Perhaps that was the point. There's always hope. No I'll never look like that again or be able to wear a bikini again, but that's what memories are for and why they inspire dreams of good health, flowers and fields that go on forever.

By the way, I got the photo from Victoria Secrets.

Love to all!

Why is your punctuation always so perfect? You must die every time you come here! I just slap it in where ever I think it's necessary. Yes, Rob cringes too.

I'm going to get my hair cut like that ~ I'll post a photo. You won't be able to tell us apart.

XO Suzanne

Hi Debbie,

I'm back, well half back. I feel pretty good and am grateful to be alive. Wow...that was nasty. I'm going to take Bindi's advice and continue to rest, but I have so much catch-up to do, I don't see how, but I'll do it. Like Peter said, there's only one of me and I have to learn to take care. Trust me, this was a mind bending experience and I have learned a valuable lesson. I'm going to do things differently. Honey, have you found my assistant yet? I could use her right now!

That dream was definately interesting. I would never post a photo like that in a million years, but for some reason I realized after waking up, life is short.

Have a beautiful day!

Love you,

I hope you're feeling better and not catching another chill in the black bikini. At our age we have to be careful!

Love you,
Suzanne :)

Kylie! That's it? Edit. Come on, you're better than that. And NO, I'm not going to edit. That was the most liberating thing I've done in a long time. The dream was wonderful. I'm on the road to recovery and I'm keepin' the black bikini because Floots wants to borrow it. I'm sure there will be many others after him!

You know it's just 'cause I'm jealous, right??

Love you back!

Suzanne said...

Random Musings...Thank you sweetie, but don't be jealous. Nothing to be jealous of. I love you too.

I just reread my blurb on your blog and can't believe I wrote it! I must have been really sick! I decided not to erase it because then your comment would just be out there danglin' in the wind, making no sense. ;)

Thanks for sticking around. Love having you here. Oh, and by the way, I told Kylie I'm actually going to buy a black bikini and wear it only in the back yard! Floots borrowed my phantom one and I don't know when I'll get it back! I have no idea how that man expects to fit into that thing. :) Frankly, I think everyone should borrow it and run carefree through a field of flowers. Life's short. Launder it first however.

I once dreamed of a girl in a black bikini but I won't go into that here. :)

Were you the guy I bumped into when I reach the end of the field?!

I wrote on your blog. Great idea. I'll introduce it here and see who's interested. I think you'll find some new friends.

Thanks for stopping by. Have been reading your comments forever on Steven's and Tena's blogs and always enjoyed them. All the best with your book(s). Anyone who can write in a woman's voice has my nod of approval!

*pops head out of dreamland flower field and speaks*

"now doesn't that black bikini look good with all these red flowers?"

*pops head back down into flower bed and disapears*

Bindi, Love you too sweetie. Thank you for always stopping by. You make my day/night!

You know what's so funny? When I saw "edit" I thought you were referring to me. I never considered you were speaking about yourself. I'm too self absorbed! I'm going to change. And honey, you never have to edit around me. Does it look like I do?

Love you,

It is a good day, isn't it? I knew you would understand. Sometimes you just have to throw your arms up in the air and enjoy the moment. I did, and will always treasure the memory. Thank you for your kind words. Always.

Much love,

Inner Voices,

Don't start! Did I mention red flowers? No! Lots of pink, purple, blue, white, etc. Yes, of course a few red poppies. Okay, are you happy? Black and red, the almost perfect combination. You're killin' me you know that, don't you?

I don't deserve you!
