- I live in Northern California with my hubby, our kitties, our dog and three goldfish. I'm a roseaholic and grow lots and lots. I'm also an artist and paint large canvases of usually...you guessed it, roses. I love gardening, architecture, animals, nature, and life in general. I especially love Mother Earth, digging in the soil, planting something and watching as she encourages it to grow.

I'm saddened. I used to be able to write whatever I wanted on Blogger. Now I'm restricted to 200 characters. That's so sad. How are you supposed to express yourself? I remember the days before facebook when I read words by writers, poets, ordinary people and they had room to write. What is this?

Christie, you're my kinda gal. Yes. You know I'm from NY. I was walking out of the market the other morning and a guy in a navy NY Yankees cap pasted me. We didn't say a word. We just started laughing.

Christie, I grew up in NY but left for a guy and college. My family is in NY. All Yankee fans! I live in CA! THANK GOD!!!!! But I learned my mom is still a Dogers fan. We talked about when they left NY.
